MOTOR DRIVING SCHOOL · LICENCE MH12/DS/0442
Schools advertise a ten-hour course because ten hours sounds affordable. The median Kerb learner passes after twenty-two hours behind the wheel, we tell you that on day one, and we publish the distribution rather than the best case.
01
No commitment. Book one lesson, decide afterwards. Most people who start here end up on the block anyway.
02
₹630 an hour, licence paperwork handled, and the test-day car included. What 7 in 10 learners take.
03
You have a licence and have not driven in years. Usually four to six hours, often in your own car.

Two things move this number more than anything else: whether you have someone to practise with between lessons, and whether you started before or after thirty. Neither is a judgement — it is just what the data says, and knowing it helps you budget properly instead of feeling behind.
Commission-paid instructors have an incentive to sell you hours. Ours do not, which is the single most important sentence on this page.
“He told me at hour fourteen that I was ready and should stop buying lessons. I have never had a service in this city voluntarily take less of my money.”
